What effects climate change?
In the world that we live in today one of the major issues is climate
change. No one knows how to stop it, no
one realizes that many things that we do today are the cause of the climate
change, and no one realizes what we do everyday effects the climate change at
hand. All of the things I mentioned have
a how but not all people know it. I know
all of the above and will explain some of the many things that effect climate
change in this paper.
One thing that effects climate change is the overuse of our vehicles. Everyone on the block has one maybe two cars. Now multiply that by how many blocks you have in your town. It adds up to a lot more then it should considering that most likely half of these people are traveling to the city or passing your work on the way to there's or vice versa. Every vehicle is burning fossil fuels contributing to pollution, a cause of climate change. Ending this might be ending climate change we wouldn't know because we all haven't really tried. Instead, ride a bike or walk to your job/place of destination if it is local, car pool or even use a town bus or train to get to your job/place of destination.
Another factor effecting climate change is not recycling. By not recycling plastics, paper and other items such as clothes it has an impact. All the plastic you leave outside can be swept away in the wind and then into the ocean where it will stay forever. Do yuk want to be swimming where there is plastic all around you, I don't think so. Also my not recycling paper, you are cutting down trees. The paper you should have recycled would have made another sheet of paper, instead of another tree being cut down to make another piece of paper. Recycling clothes would allow people without new clothes to have your old ones, making the clothes new for them. This would reduce the amount of landfills being made or burnt which causes smoke to be put into the air.
In conclusion, there are many factors effecting climate change such as the overuse of vehicles and the lacking in recycling. Both of these could be a major producer in the climate change chain but we would never know because we haven't don't much to stop it.
